We have strived to provide stable and strong leadership, resulting in the development and expansion of award-winning programs and initiatives including:
• Speech and Debate Program
• Comprehensive K-12 Visual and Performing Arts program TK-12
• Music in Elementary Schools
• State-of-the-art High School Esports
• Comprehensive WCUSD Mental Health Program
• Expansion of School Safety Measures at all schools
During our term, our schools have not only created and expanded programs and initiatives, but also increased student achievement resulting in:
• Three WCUSD schools earned the CA Distinguished School Award.
• Two WCUSD schools received the Schools to Watch Award.
• Local, State, and National Speech and Debate Championship Awards
• Esports State Championns
We have also provided fiscally responsible leadership resulting in:
• Maintenance and Enhancement of School Facilities
• Construction of a cutting-edge culinary kitchen at West Covina High School
• Construction of Hollencrest Gym and Visual Performing Art
• A Strong Budget
